Did you know that January is Glaucoma Awareness Month? As part of our effort to expose our readers to the latest health news, A-1 Home Care will be discussing glaucoma in support of this month. 

Glaucoma is an umbrella term for a group of disorders in which the pressure in the eye becomes too great for the health of the optic nerve. Holiday fun at the Whittier Senior Center

A-1 Home Care spent the afternoon at the Whittier Senior Center, having a ball with the local elder community, making arts and crafts. We arrived in the early afternoon, with several members of our corporate staff in tow. With plenty of refreshments, activities, and a nifty holiday Powerpoint to offer the community, we were confident that the event would be a success!

The PowerPoint presentation included classic images of Christmas, and winter themes.
